Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The music she grew up with was traditional, old boleros as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves Tangos. She also loves operas as well as any theatrical performance. At age 16 she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to provide her with more intense singing instruction. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She is involved with many local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for music and arts. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor of The Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her passion and passion of old-fashioned Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
