Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines and is now a Filipino American actress, comedian, television host and model. She suffered from various organ malfunctions, which included the failure of her kidneys. It was her new normal to have the peritoneal, and later the hemodialysis. After an hospitalization of 80 days Angelica nearly died and then on a road towards recovery. After nearly a year and half of dialysis Angelica was ready to undergo the most significant operation of her life-her kidney transplant. Angelica's mom was the only one who could donate a kidney. Angelica Hale underwent a successful kidney transplant with her mother on the 13th of September, 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of being a star ever since.
